
Dr. Paul Bajuk
DVM
Dr. Paul Bajuk graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. He initially practiced at an emergency clinic in the northern suburbs, gaining experience in emergency medicine, surgery, and critical care. After a few years, he transitioned into traditional daytime practice as a general practitioner. He enjoys the medical and surgical challenges his dog and cat patients present to him on a daily basis, both routine and on an emergency basis. He holds a special interest in soft tissue surgery, critical care medicine, geriatric medicine, and helping clients and their pets enjoy their golden years more comfortably. Dr. Bajuk is an active member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association and Chicago Veterinary Medical Association. In his free time, Dr. Bajuk enjoys spending time and being active with his wife and two sons, which often includes playing tennis, skiing, and running with their dog Brodie.
Rebekah
Office Manager
Rebekah is our Office Manager and you’ll find her working alongside the other team members most of the time or working one on one with Dr. Paul.
She started out as an assistant technician in high school and worked for 10+ years as a Veterinary Technician. Rebekah has been with the clinic since it first opened and can’t imagine working in any other
industry. She loves to read, pet-sit, and spend time with her two kids.
She has a beloved black lab named Guinness, and 2 cats. She is most passionate about client satisfaction and providing the best care for
your fur babies!
Abby
Receptionist
Abby is our receptionist and is one of the first faces to greet you at our clinic! She previously has about 1 yr experience in the Veterinary Industry. However she has done dog training for 3+ years. Abby owns 2
Australian shepherds named Cinch and Cruize as well as 2 horses named Codi and Apollo. When not working, she enjoys dog training, leatherwork, magnawave, spending time with her horses, reading, and playing video games . Abby’s passionate about welcoming clients and patients, along with assisting the team at Hometown Animal Hospital!

Kendall
Receptionist
Kendall is our new Receptionist. She is currently studying business and veterinary medicine at Weatherford College. Kendall has shadowed at multiple clinics to gain knowledge in this field. She owns a 6 month old Dachshund and Aussie mix named Cash. Kendall’s hobbies outside of work include watching movies, playing video games, baking and painting. Her favorite thing about vet med is greeting our clients and creating a warm environment for them and their pets!

Rachael
Lead Veterinary Technician
Rachael is our Lead Veterinary Technician. She’s been in the industry for three years now and previously was a groomer for 6 years. She just finished attending Bel-rea Institute of Veterinary Technology in Denver, Colorado and received her Associate Degree in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. Rachael has a 3 year old Australian cattle dog named Morty and two Ferrets, Olivia and Bonnie. At work Rachael is very passionate about safe anesthesia procedures and assisting in dental
cleanings. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, playing video games, and going to music festivals.
Brittany
Veterinary Technician
Brittany is one of our “All Star” Veterinary Technicians. She has been in the veterinary field for 4 years and is level 3 Fear Free Certified.
Brittany has two dogs; Tex a sweet lab mix, and Lexie a very loud miniature schnauzer. In her spare time, she likes to cook, play video games, and quote songs/movies/and tv shows. Her favorite thing in vet med is performing Dental cleanings and seeing improving results on sick patients. She is very compassionate and wants the very best for your fur babies.

Melissa
Veterinary Technician
Melissa is one of our newest Veterinary Technicians. She has been in the Veterinary industry for 9 years. She was born and raised in Boston, MA and graduated with her Bachelors degree from University of Massachusetts Lowell. When she’s not working at the clinic she’s hanging out with her Chesapeake bay retriever/ Weimaraner mix named Castiel. Castiel is a couch potato who loves naps and pepperoni! Melissa also loves to travel. She has currently traveled to 21 countries and still plans on many more.
Her favorites include South Africa, Thailand, and Japan. Her passion in vet med is assisting patients that have to be hospitalized due to an illness or injury. She loves helping pets all day and keeping the clients comfortable while they trust us with their babies!

Kelsey
Veterinary Technician
Kelsey is one of our amazing Veterinary Technicians. She has been in the Veterinary field for 7 years but has been working with animals for 12. She graduated from New Mexico State University with her degree in Hospitality. She is a Licensed Real Estate Agent and loves doing that as her second job. When she’s not working at the clinic she enjoys spending time with her 3 rescue pups that she acquired through vet med. She has an Italian greyhound/rat terrier mix named Dora Jean, a collie mix named Lillie Ann, and a Boston terrier named Geoffrey. You can also find her touring DFW, finding new brunch places, being outdoors, painting, or working on arts and crafts. Her passion in vet med is helping animals in need and being able to build connections with each of them.

MaRita
Veterinary Technician Assistant
MaRita is our newest Veterinary Technician Assistant! She is a graduate of Prosper High School and is currently attending Collin College to begin her education. Her plan is to eventually attend Texas A&M and further her education in Veterinary Medicine. She is new to the veterinary industry but is eager to learn. She has one dog named Stella who has been her best friend since she was 9 years old. Outside of school her hobbies include playing with Stella and traveling. She also loves spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite thing about Vet Med is that she can express her passion for animals in the most meaningful way possible, and that is by ensuring they are happy and healthy.
